MANAGING PARTNER
Letha Moszer
LCSW-C
Letha is a clinical social worker with 20 years of experience in mental health and more than a dozen years in social work education at the collegiate level. She has resided in Cecil County since childhood and is passionate about investing in her community and its members. Letha’s social work practice began with children, adolescents, and families through school-based therapeutic work in Cecil County Public Schools. She has continued work with the public schools in other capacities, such as presenter and trainer on trauma-informed research and educational practices, consultant, and adolescent programming facilitator in collaboration with local resource providers.
For the past six years, Letha has been a therapist with Cecil County’s Family Violence Programs. With a growing desire to support our community’s wellness by targeting trauma survivors with high-level clinical needs, Letha moved into contractual therapeutic work with the Domestic Violence/Rape Crisis Shelter. This work has been impactful on Letha’s career and understanding of our community’s needs, and she seeks to advance these efforts further. Letha stepped down from her role as a Clinical Associate Professor with Salisbury University’s School of Social Work in 2022 to pursue clinical practice, training, and mentorship full-time.

Vicarious Traumatization and Vicarious Resilience
Letha has spent the past 15 years developing her knowledge base and practice skills, with a focus on developmental and complex traumas; the impact of early adversity on neurodevelopmental processes; related disruptions across domains and throughout the lifespan; vicarious traumatization and vicarious resilience; and best practices for trauma-sensitive therapeutic treatment. In addition to these core tenets of trauma research and treatment, Letha has also learned about specific implications and practices applicable to human services, behavioral health, and educational settings.
Letha is trained in several evidence-informed and best-practice therapeutic models, to include but not limited to: Certificates in Advanced Trauma Treatment, Part I and Part II, The Institute for Advanced Psychotherapy Training and Education, Inc.; EMDR Training, EMDR Institute; Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment (SMART), The Trauma Center at JRI; Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) Model Training, The Trauma Center at JRI; and most recently Internal Family Systems (IFS), The IFS Institute.
Letha values her roles as a clinical social worker and social work educator, and these complement one another in supporting our local community. Through these roles she brings together her passion for supporting persons facing adversity and desire to enhance the knowledge and skills of professionals. As an instructor in higher education and for continuing education workshops, Letha shares this knowledge with professionals to encourage their interest in the field, equip them with the information and abilities required to provide positive therapeutic services, and guide them through the process of developing increased self-awareness of biases and judgments that can impact service provision and ethical practice.
