What We Offer

• Employment Options: We offer W2 and 1099 contractor positions for therapists. W2 benefits include administrative pay and paid time off.

• Autonomy & Flexibility: You have the autonomy to practice using your preferred service delivery method(s) and theoretical frameworks. We offer diverse therapeutic options through in-person, remote, and school-based services. In addition, you have the flexibility to set your own hours.

• Personalized Therapeutic Relationships: Personalize your caseload with your preferred population(s). We market to various client population groups via Facebook, Instagram, and Psychology Today. Therapists are encouraged to conduct 20-30 min virtual consultations with prospective clients to ensure it’s a good fit for both you and the client. Feel confident in your skills and the strength of the therapeutic alliance by having control over your caseload.

• Clinical Support and Professional Development: We offer a variety of clinical supports, including bi-weekly case consultations, training resources at no cost, and in-house supervision for pre-licensed professionals. Our practice values the importance of regular and consistent therapist support to enhance skills and develop clinical expertise.

• Welcoming Workspace: Our practice offers an environment that feels welcoming and regulating for both our clients and therapists. Our clients and community providers often note our offices are inviting and “cozy”. Our waiting room is stocked with refreshments and lite snacks for all to enjoy. We also provide therapists with fully furnished office space, to include two chairs, a couch, a bookshelf, and a computer table.

• Credentialing at No Cost: We take care of the credentialing process and complete the required documentation at no cost to you. We credential our therapists with Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, and Unite HealthCare.

• Access to Billing Specialist: Our billing specialist takes care of all billing matters, from insurance verification to submitting claims and troubleshooting payment issues. Our EHR system is easy to navigate and provides full transparency for therapists’ billing questions. Our therapists have direct access to our billing specialist and we encourage monthly collaboration to discuss any billing questions or concerns.

• Competitive Compensation:  $45-$97.50 per session, depending on licensure, experience, and training.

Qualifications

• Maryland licensure 

• Preferred 3 to 5 years of experience in mental health counseling

• Knowledge of community mental health resources 

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Ability to build rapport with clients
