Carrie has a passion for supporting others in their pursuit of health and growth. She is warm, compassionate, encouraging, and direct. Carrie assists her clients in navigating their journey through treatment with a client-centered and strengths-based approach. Carrie has been in the Social Work field for over 16 years, in a variety of settings with diverse client groups. She has experience serving individuals and families, from young children to older adults, who may be dealing with a variety of issues including complex trauma, depression, anxiety, addictions, relationship issues, and grief and loss.

Carrie graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Studies. She then received her Master of Social Work Degree from Salisbury University. Carrie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the States of Maryland and Delaware.
As Carrie joins Changing Tides, she brings a wealth of knowledge around family systems, community resources, and the impact of adversity on mental health and wellness. Carrie is trained in Solution-Focused Couples Therapy and has basic training in the SMART therapeutic treatment modality. In fall 2022, Carrie completed her Level 1 training in the Trauma Certificate Program through the Ferentz Institute.
