We’re all just walking each other home

- Ram Dass

Our therapists walk the path towards healing with you, to share in your journey through collaboration and self-empowerment.

Our Philosophy

Ashley and Letha, the founders and mental health therapists of Changing Tides, sitting next to each other on a bench

The path towards healing takes our minds and hearts on a journey that brings up memories of early adversity, past traumas, and present-day challenges. This can feel overwhelming to process and navigate given the complexity of our lived experiences and their impact on well-being. Our mental health therapists are trained in how childhood events intersect with current life dynamics and wellness. We bring this knowledge into a collaborative environment where we tailor treatment to personal strengths, interests, and needs.

We seek to empower people in the context of a therapeutic relationship that embodies a holistic approach, compassionate tone, and the possibility of finding hope for change and personal growth. We encourage you to give yourself permission to take this courageous step, honoring the parts that seek to enter the therapeutic relationship (because we know there are other parts saying heck no!) and invite you to learn more.

What Our Clients Say

"I had the privilege of receiving services from both Letha and Ashley, and I cannot express enough how this opportunity has changed my life.  Filled with compassion, they held light in the my darkest days and helped my son and I navigate treacherous waters following a life-altering event. These ladies are incredibly skilled at meeting you just where you are. Life will give you lemons sometimes, it's true, and I am here to tell you that these women will be holding a light, sipping some bitter lemonade with you, reminding you that healing is a terrifyingly beautiful process, but you are worth it."
